    I make awesome smoothies. I've only ever fed them to myself so no one can vouch for this statement but I sure slurp them down. I do not generally bother to look at smoothie recipes because, like I stated, I already make delicious ones, so I don't need anyone's help. But, I found the colorful cover attractive so, on a whim, I added this to my library check-out pile. I do not wish to return it to the library. (No worries, I will, I was a librarian in a past life.) The recipes I might actually try,

The recipes I might actually try, most sound terrific. What I like best about this book is the spotlight on some of the smoothie ingredients. I'm fairly knowledgable in the field of nutrition but I'm always game to learn more and some the featured food items are new to me. Can't say I've ever eaten maqui or sacha inch-i. Even with those foods I do know about, such as chia and goji berries, my knowledge increased. My blender is going to be getting frequent workouts.
