Man, I love this author and what she does with her stories. They always make me feel so much and this book was no different! I loved every page, from start to finish. I mean just read the blurb and you'll definitely want to read the story. A rockstar who's a virgin? Like, duh! That's like heaven to my ears. I love that type of plot and aside from that, Zane is just an unbelievable character that you can't help but to fall in love with. He's super funny but he also has some

He's super funny but he also has some huge issues and a strong obsession with marshmallows. The reason behind that is so sad and at the same time, dare I say, cute? I don't know, just read the book!

Anyway, as far as the plot goes, I enjoyed it. There was one twist that I saw coming miles away so I wasn't that surprised when it all blowed over but the other twist, wow, yeah that was just mean and super emotional. How could it not be, the author includes the whole process and in that situation you really can see how loved Zane is and that his family, maybe not by blood but family still, really do care for him a lot. Also, Fallon, she's so strong and really just an amazing person. She can be a bit nerdy but in a cute way. Also, what she has to go through is so hard for her but she's tough and just what Zane needs.

The ending is maybe not what I wanted to see, because the story will continue in Will's book but I wished we'd get to see an epilogue a bit further in the future. They have a strong bond but with the media and all that, I would've loved to see how that affects them. The next book can't come soon enough and from what we could gather at the end of this story, there is some mayor drama ahead (but not between Zane and Fallon). Thankfully I haven't read the first book in this series, so I have a way to get my fix there, lol. ;) All I can say is get this book!!! It's really a wonderful story.

    So is

    a

Well the answer to that is simple…

If you aren’t familiar with an RVD book, then you are truly missing out on falling in love with stories that are full of passion, raw emotions and heart. In this second installment to the

, RVD introduces readers to Zane Andrews, who is considered a rock god that is adored by thousands of fans. Sex, fame, money and rock’n’roll is what people think Zane’s life consist of. He’s a sinner and saint. But what his fans don’t know is the real Zane Andrews.

Who is the real Zane Andrews? Well for one, he is a marshmallow fiend. The man is addicted to this sticky and fluffy deliciousness. He is also a very private person and doesn’t have many friends. Also, Zane carries the burdens of his past and suffers from anxiety attacks. And one last thing, he is a virgin. Yes, that’s right Zane Andrews, rock superstar is a virgin.

When Zane runs into Fallon, he find himself being drawn to her. He wants to get to know of the girl who wears glasses that are too big for her face and doesn’t seem to care that he is Zane “Saint” Andrews. He loves the fact that Fallon doesn’t see Zane the superstar but instead as the annoying rock star that loves to tease her and call her four eyes. Soon Zane finds himself developing a friendship with Fallon and slowly begins to let her in. He informs Fallon of his sad childhood from bouncing in the foster system after his grandmother past away and why he loves marshmallows. As their relationship progresses, Zane finally loses his virginity to the one woman that makes feel home.

Fallon doesn’t see Zane the celebrity but she truly sees Zane Andrews. She sees the man who has an unhealthy obsession with marshmallows. But most importantly, she sees a man who has beautiful soul that just needed to be reassured that he is indeed loved. Fallon makes it known to Zane that she will never abandon him ever.

Fallon and Zane are two peas in a pod. They just fit. Everything about their relationships works. It’s sweet, beautiful, and absolutely sticky with so much love, respect, honesty, and compassion. And so when their relationship hits a hurdle, will Zane be able to keep Fallon and make her his forever girl?

is one of those stories that sucks you in right from the opening pages. Zane and Fallon are two characters that immediately stole my heart. I love that RVD didn’t rush the relationship of Zane and Fallon, but allowed readers to see that their friendship has depth and meaning. Their kisses meant something. And most importantly, Zane giving up his virginity was also an act of baring his soul, his past and his future with Fallon. It was an act that readers could honestly feel that this thing that Zane and Fallon have is more. It’s more than friendship. It’s more than love. It’s home.

So if you are looking for a story where friendship, banter, drama, and love are beautifully woven into the storyline then I suggest you read

And if you need another reason to read this book, then I will give you 4 Marshmallow reasons. First, this book is sweet. Second, Zane and Fallon proves that love bounces back. No matter how you hard you squeeze it, a fluffy marshmallow bounces back. And whatever problems that Zane and Fallon faced, they just bounce back. Third, they make people smile. Why wouldn’t you smile when a rocker finds his inspiration in you. And lastly, marshmallows are great when they are hot. Like any s’mores, it’s those fiery bursts of romance and attraction that keeps Zane and Fallon’s love sticky as molasses or in this case sticky as marshmallows.

4.5 marshmallo-shaped stars! This was my first Rachel Van Dyken book and I am impressed by her ability to do humor so well. Loved this book. Zane is so unique and charming but with serious flaws that humanize him. Fallon is a down to earth girl with issues of her own, but who is reluctantly allowing herself out of her comfort zone. Their encounters are sweet and funny. The plot was interesting because it touches on mental health and societal issues in a tasteful manner and with a tone that makes it relatable to the readers. There was one twist to the plot that I wasn't expecting and I felt nervous about where it was going. No worries though, it all works out how it's meant to in the end. Needless to say, I really enjoyed this read and whole-heartedly recommend it, especially if you're looking for something to make you laugh out loud. Safety: No OW/OM/Sharing. Brief separation, no others while apart. One of them is a virgin. No rape or abuse.

I loved this book! So much. It’s fun, emotional, sweet and romantic. Zane and Fallon are incredible characters, just like the secondary characters. I already loved Zane in Capture and I loved him more now. Zane is famous, talented, kind and a little lost. I loved getting to know him better and there were still some (shocking) things to discover about him. Fallon is a sweet, genuine, caring, smart and feisty woman. She’s perfect for Zane. She understands him and pushes him when he needs it. Zane

I've been waiting for this book since the moment I was introduced to Zane and his crazy marshmallow addiction in

. I could tell from that first moment that he was going to be a super intriguing character, and I was not wrong. I loved him for all his imperfections and vulnerabilities, and actually thought they made him very realistic.

Even though I was really excited for the story, there was a bit of nervousness on my part because of Zane's anxiety. We only learned a little about it in the last book but I could tell that it was going to be a bigger part of this story. It's always a hit or miss for me when characters have any form of anxiety or illness because sometimes it's just not handled well as part of the story and that can frustrate me. I didn't have anything to worry about however, because the author wrote about his fear really well, and I thought it was done the right way.

Zane, superstar musician that all the girls swear they're in love with. And also secret anxiety sufferer and virgin. I won't tell you more than that about him because he's the type of character that you need to learn his personality on your own. And trust me when I say that he won't disappoint you. If you've read

then I'm sure you remember him, but there is way more to learn about the true Zane, and you definitely need to do that right away.

The whole Hero who is a virgin thing seems to be a growing trend, and while I'm not fully on board with that idea, RVD took some of my apprehension about it away. I wasn't even nervous about Zane being a virgin because of meeting him in the last book, and just from those encounters I knew there was no way he would be anything less than sexy as hell. And I was right! This boy is panty-dropping worthy.

Fallon was really the perfect girl for Zane. And I'm sure that's something you read in reviews for every romance book out there. But Zane and Fallon weren't just the typical "oh it's true love" couple. They were so real I felt like I was sitting down listening to some grandmother tell me how she fell in love with her husband of 50+ years and how all the hard times are worth it once you found the love of your life. Theirs was the kind of love that may be a work of fiction, but it makes you believe in true love.

I really wish I could have given this book five stars, and Zane and Fallon together were definitely worth more than five stars, but the ending of the book lowered my rating some. Not the whole ending, because there was actually something that made me fall for Zane even harder at the end. But when the book was over and I reflected back on what I had read, I realized that Zane's anxiety issue kind of just dissipated by the time the story finished. It made me feel meh because anxiety doesn't just go away so it kind of confused me it wasn't brought up like it was earlier in the book.

Overall, the romance was light and fun, even in the rough times, and something I don't think any fellow romance lover should miss out on.

First, and foremost, I want to hold and cover the hand of the model on this cover. That's it. Thank you.

    But seriously, come on, hotness❤

I knew I would like Zane Andrews, but just didn't know how much. I fell in love with another man (a fictional man that is😉)

I enjoyed this book. It was cute, sexy, fun, and sad. I loved Fallon & Zane together and I sure hope we get more of them. I feel these last couple books have abrupt endings. I need more pretty please!!!!!!

Rock God: Zane "Saint" Andrews is sex on a stick in looks and reputation. But in real life? He's a virgin. It's not often you get a virgin adult hero in romance novels and I found the role-reversal to be a lot of fun to read. There's much more going on in this book than just the sexual component and the combination of elements kept me engaged in an age group and genre that I've given up on. There's drama but not the typical dysfunctional relationship drama I usually see portrayed in new-adult.

worked for me and I would definitely consider lifting my "no new-adult" rule when it comes to

    . Check it out!

    2.5 Stars.

The whole thing just felt like a book draft. For eg; The amount of !!!!!!!!!!!! marks. The inconsistenties, flitting from one thing to the next without introducing a scene. The severe lack of description, apart from muscles & glasses that is. The banter that fell short because it was quick but not sharp.

The characters i didn't have a problem with, they were nice enough. The H's traumatic past didn't work for me with lack of emotion & the OTT-ness of it. The twist had me rolling

It WAS cute, nice & easy. The H reminded me of Mal from Play by Kylie Scott. But i felt like nothing REALLY happened & that the writing needed a major overhaul.
