Azaam gave me this cookbook for my birthday! :D

We actually ogled this book at the

gift shop, so I may or may not have gotten overly-happy when he gave me this book.

    The recipes in

are just run-of-the-mill simple recipes one could get from any general cookbook. That part made me a little sad, but in a way I feel it adds something to the nostalgia; like maybe they are Grandma's home-recipes from Alderaan.

The accompanying pictures of figures fighting on baked terrain are

    ALSO THERE ARE STICKERS!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

    If you love references to

If you're looking for spectacular never-been-done-before recipes, this is not the cookbook you were looking for.

    A long time ago...

In a Kitchen far, far away...

My cousin allowed me to put dishes away. But I blundered that task by picking the wrong cabinet. And as the door closed, sunlight slashed across holo-foil. Giddiness bubbled up in me as the words 'Star Wars' registered in my brain. Quickly, I asked for permission to take the tome from its place amongst her other cookbooks

She agreed and I hurried to finish my dish task, collect my mother to share in this moment, and yank the book down from whence it

She agreed and I hurried to finish my dish task, collect my mother to share in this moment, and yank the book down from whence it came.

The next half hour was spent in stitches and lack of enough oxygen. Granted most of these are basic recipes given clever or silly names; some even sharing photo space with figures from Star Wars.

I would totally pull this out if ever a Star Wars party arose, just for giggles and good fun.

Highly recommend creating these treats with children.

This book is very much convinced that only little kids would want a Star Wars cookbook. However, it's awesome and I'm very excited to try some of these recipes out! Love the pictures, of course, the stickers in the back are hilarious ("Use the fork, Luke"), I like that the book is spiral, and the pages are laminated to protect while you're cooking.

Wookiee Cookies were excellent! I had a lot of fun making them with the kids. Mr. H is learning to bake. An important lesson for all kids! 🍪😊 P.S. the recipes are easy to read with instructions easy to follow without speaking down to kids with baby talk.

Illustrated with hilarious dioramas using Star Wars action figures, this cookbook features delicacies from galaxies far, far away such as Hoth Chocolate, Jabba Jiggle, Greedo's Burritos, and Han-Burgers. The recipes aren't too advanced. The challenge comes in the presentation, for example "TIE Fighter Ties" calls for only two ingredients, hotdogs and refrigerator breadsticks, but there is some assembly required. This is truly playing with your food :)

This book is awesomeness. The action figures cracked me up and the recipe names are great. However the recipes themselves weren't all that amazing. Most of the recipes although tasty for example the grilled cheese didn't exactly relate to star wars. Pretty much the author took some basic dishes such hamburgers or pancakes and came up with a clever name.

Ok, so the only recipe I've made from this cookbook is the Twin Sun Toast which, by the way, was quite a hit at our house. That said, I have to recommend this book to anyone with Star Wars fans, young or old, in the family. The book is rarely on my shelves at my K-5 library. It stays checked out from the beginning of the school year till the last possible minute before summer and usually has a waiting list. Each recipe has been given a Star Wars based name and is illustrated with cleverly placed

If you purchase this book for your favorite Star Wars fan, there are some pretty cute stickers in the back with punny Star Wars quotes. Fun, fun, fun! For fans of this title, be sure to take a look at the sequel, "The Star Wars Cookbook II, Darth Malt and More Galactic Recipes".

This German version of the Star Wars cookbook contains the translations of all recipes from both of the original versions.

Even for someone who has little experience in cooking and baking, the recipes are fully comprehensible and easy to follow. However, a number of the recipes in this book are far from innovative: Although the Wookiee Cookies were as good as I had hoped they would be, they were hardly any different from the cookies I usually bake. Some of the recipes therefore seem quite unimaginative, whereas others in fact gave me new ideas especially for drinks and desserts.

For German die-hard Star Wars fans (especially those with little cooking experience) this book is definitely a must-have, but certainly not very useful for people looking for completely new ideas and challenges.

OK, it's basically a cookbook for adolescent boys. However, the desert recipes were pretty good, and the food is actually kid-friendly and fairly healthy. Priceless for the illustrations that accompany the recipes and the intro explaining why adults are useful - even Luke needed guidance.

If you're a Star Wars fan, or trying to get your kids more interested in food or cooking, this is totally for you.

A great cookbook for those who have tendancies to set things on fire in the kitchen. Recipes are easy enough a caveman can do it, but delishus enough for me to actually eat. Many are simple ones that most can accomplish, accompanied by a cutesy, star-warsian name next to it. Wookie Cookies, Twin-Sun Toast and Hoth Chocolate are just a few of the galactic treats contained inside. I wouldn't spend the money on the actual hard cover, I'd spend a bit less on the ebook though.
