Loved receiving and reading this ARC. I've read a few of the previous books in this series and have enjoyed them all. Now awaiting the seventh book.

A Goodreads Giveaway!! 4.5 rounded up. I love Karen White and I especially love this series so I was very excited to win an advance of The Christmas Spirits on Tradd Street.

But, that only works in favor of the reader since we are sure that another installment will be needed to resolve things.

I love everything Karen White writes and am a huge fan of this series. Highly recommended!

I loved it just like I’ve loved all the other Tradd Street books! It’s amazing to watch these characters grow. The storyline of this book was very similar to the others but it’s a big enough difference that it’s definitely going to keep your attention. So happy I won this book and had a chance to hopefully encourage people to become a huge Karen White fan like me!!

I won an advanced reading copy of The Christmas Spirits on Tradd Street. I have loved all of the books in this series and this was another great one. I especially love the way Karen describes things, from the people, to houses and even the pets. The scene where the family is getting ready for the photo shoot for the annual family Christmas card is hilarious. It is a great book and I just can't wait for the next one in the series!

I didn't realize this book was the 6th in the series when I entered the contest. When my husband found it on my front porch I was excited to think that I had an early copy of the book and quickly finished the book I was reading so I could start my new book. I haven't read any of the Tradd Street Series yet. I have a few, but wanted to get the first two so I would read them in order. It had everything you could ask for in a book from start to finish. I will venture out to get the missing books from my series to see what Tradd Street is all about in Charleston. Thank you for the chance to read it before the holidays when my reading time seems to slip away until January.

I didn't realize this book was the 6th in the series when I entered the contest for an ARC, but not having read 1-5 did not at all hinder my understanding or enjoyment of the story. This is a rollicking little read, full of humor, history, action, and "spirited" characters. I loved the descriptive writing, and how the city of Charleston becomes a part of the story rather than just being a backdrop. This is the first book by Karen White I've read, and I plan to get my hands on the first five book

This is the first book by Karen White I've read, and I plan to get my hands on the first five books in this series this week so I can continue to get to know her cast of characters. If you're wondering whether or not they're engaging at all, I found myself furious at some of them and laughing heartily at others. So yes, I was fully into this story. Fans of Jenny Colgan and her Little Beach Street Bakery series will love this one.

I received this from the Goodreads giveaway! Although having a Christmas theme, I didn’t mind the out of season setting. It was just enough to give you the feel but not too much to be overly holiday themed. I loved the connection of all of these characters and how they got along while sometimes disagreeing. The flow of the story was seamless. I was interested to the very last page and wish there was another chapter to keep me from guessing what happens next.

So glad Melanie has Jayne to help balance her a bit...if only she would be sensible enough to ask for her more often.

Everyone is pooling their info and some pieces are rather unsettling.

"Matt" is even more loathsome that usual, but Anthony seems okay. I have to admit that I liked Rebecca better by the end of the book.

These books have some of the most interesting people in them. They don't seem like characters - they feel like people! They are friends that I will miss after the end of the series

The worst part about this book is how long it is until the last one in the series comes out.

The Christmas season sounds beautiful but so much was going on that nobody really got to enjoy it. It was nice to see Jack lighten up a little bit about Cooper. Nola handles things quite well, like always

I have to admit that I could see some things coming. I was disappointed because one plot line still hasn't been resolved. Well, more than one, but that's all I'm saying.

I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway and am so grateful, as I love Ms White's books! I will have a more complete review when I finish the book. I will do my best to review all aspects in an accurate manner.

Thank you, Goodreads Giveaway and Penguin Random House for this ARC.

is the 6th installment of Tradd Street series from

In this installment, Jack, Melanie, and Jayne get mixed up with Anthony, Marc's brother. Together, with help from their bevy of friends and family members, they solve another mystery and help another ghost to find peace.

I didn't enjoy this as much as I did the past four books. Hence, the two-star rating. This book isn't as spooky as the other books and less coherent. There was a part in the book where the suspense was building up, then the chapter ends. The next chapter didn't pick up where it left off; the event was brushed under the carpet. I also felt the parts regarding Veronica's sister felt misplaced. I realized this when I was nearing the end of the book because I was expecting to get it resolved as well. The bits about Melanie's obsession with her labeling gun and her insecurity towards Jayne felt like a long soliloquy. The way the fourth book ended and how this one started, I thought Nola was connected to one of the ghosts. But that, too, didn't pan out.

Despite the book's several faults, I still enjoyed the book and await the release of the seventh book.

For those who haven't read the other books in the series, I advise you to start because you're missing a lot.
