We are still in the search of inspiring novels that have everyone grow more confidence and not be afraid to make some changes with their lives. Lindsey Teague Moreno does more than share inspirational stories from her life but gives the readers tools that will help them achieve their dream and grow more confidence in themselves. Even though this book is focused on the business aspect of change in becoming the boss, this book can also apply through daily life and in any situation where you need any tips and tricks for achieving your dream and living your best life.

We will consider adding this title to our Non-Fiction collection in our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

This is a great book for moms with a side hustle or looking to start a business. Lindsay shares her honest opinion on how to get things done and let go of the mom guilt in the process. She’s funny and engaging, which is sometimes hard to accomplish with a business book! You’ll want to read it more than once. The first time to let her words wash over you and encourage you, and again while taking notes of how to take charge of your projects and businesses.

I tore through this book in two sittings. That says a lot for me with a business book. Do I read business books sometimes? Yes, but only because I know I should. Generally, I don’t find them super enthralling and entertaining despite having great information. I’m more of a fantasy reader who just wants to be entertained. This book surprised me, even though I know it shouldn’t have - I did love the info in LTM’s “Getting Noticed”. Lindsey is thoroughly entertaining and relatable and cuts through

P.S. I received an Advanced Reader Copy from the publisher through NetGalley... in case your wondering how I’m reviewing something not yet released 😉

So thankful to have been part of the launch team and was able to receive an advanced reader copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

I don’t read many business books cover to cover. I read this in 2 days, would’ve been sooner if my kids didn’t interrupt haha!

I especially don’t cry when I read books, I cried to this one. No, more like sobbed. But in the best way.

I’ve been following Lindsay on social media for over a year and this book exceeded my expectations. Every word felt like we were sitting across from each other one on one. I laughed, I cried, and I related to everything. Not only did she give me exactly what I needed to go forward and rock my business, she literally awakened a giant. I’ve never felt so liberated. She truly is such a straightforward person and doesn’t candycoat anything which is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much LTM and I cannot wait for the hardcopy! Already preordered from Amazon!

Filled with truth. It’s time for women to stop apologizing for who we are and learn who we are. I was blown away by the mindset of the author.

“Self-confidence is the secret weapon to your business success. Be unapologetically who you are. Be strong enough to like what you like. Be confident enough to say what you mean. Take up space. Be too loud. Be too much. Be you, and don’t apologize for it. You didn’t do someone wrong by being yourself. Stop believing you owe another human being an apology

Lift your head high, direct your eyes above the foreheads of everyone in the room, and exist on purpose. When you do these things, your true self shines, and people want to be a part of that.”

I am on the launch team for this book.

Wow!!!!! Wow!!!! WOW!!!! TALK ABOUT REALNESS!!! This book has had me all in my feelings for many reasons. But mostly this part where @lindsayteague talks about the apologies. MANY times I've felt like I've had the "need" to apologize when being me, when talking about my business or even when tryjng to talk about it. This right here keeps ringing in my head/ear: "The first step to letting your freak flag fly is to stop apologizing for who you are. Stop apologizing for success. Stop apologizing fo

Stop apologizing for failure. Stop apologizing for owning a space in the world."

For the last couple of months working on being ME UNAPOLOGETICALLY has been tough for many reasons:

    1. I often get caught up on the what if's

    2. People tend to find a way to pull guilt trips.

In the midst of working on this I've learned to come out my closet more, my comfort zones are seeing less of me AND MOST IMPORTANTLY I AM UNDERSTANDING THAT... YES, people's opinions of me do matter BUT GOD IS THE ONE WHO GRANTS ME HIS APPROVAL!!! I've been blessed with women who have picked me up when I was at my lowest and BELIEVED IN ME when I didn't/don't. They've shown me God's love through my process and still do. Even the tough love for this and more I AM GRATEFUL 💪🏽💗💗💗 With this said... I👏🏽 CANNOT 👏🏽WAIT 👏🏽TO 👏🏽HAVE👏🏽 THE👏🏽 ACTUAL 👏🏽HARD 👏🏽COPY👏🏽 OF 👏🏽THIS👏🏽 GEM👏🏽 IN 👏🏽MY 👏🏽HANDS 👏🏽 If you already haven't done so, ORDER IT!!! Check amazon, barnes & nobles check where ever you need to BUT GET IT !!!!

This is a great read for wanna be mom-entrepreneurs and current mom bosses! I found her writing style very fun and entertaining. This was really informational too, with lots of practical tips on growing your business, big or small.

Disclaimer: I received this ARC from publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is a very good book if you want to start your own business (even if you still have no idea what type of business yet) or if you already have your own business. It has business savvy, wisdom, wit and a whole lot of authenticity, all of which makes for an educational but entertaining book, never boring.

It is not, however, without flaws. The introduction and the first chapter felt like a long introduction and I found myself wishing it would get to the point. But no worries; it gets good,

It is not, however, without flaws. The introduction and the first chapter felt like a long introduction and I found myself wishing it would get to the point. But no worries; it gets good, really good, specific, immensely helpful and informative from then on.

Also, I know many people loved the footnotes (there are funny, entertaining footnotes in practically every page), however, I found that they hurt the flow of the book. I would have preferred to have them included as part of the main text.

This two minor details aside, I would recommend this book to every woman, especially moms, dreaming, hoping, planning, detailing or already working on their own. It will help you streamline your ideas, have a thought out plan, branding, target market and marketing ideas, among other equally important business foundations.

Boss Up! is full of motivation and support, that many business books lack.

I received an early copy of this book from the publisher, but this is my honest review.

After making millions selling essential oils, Lindsay Teague Moreno found her true passion in life was to inspire female entrepreneurs. In her new book, she takes the lesson she learned as a serial entrepreneur to share her 10 successful philosophies to help other mothers realize their dreams.

What I first fell in love with was her discussion on finding your thing and thinking long-term. She perfectly explains how to figure out what you want to do and how to think ahead towards scaling up to a multimillion-dollar company. I took pages of notes on these topics, and I think my business will be better for it.

After that, many of her success philosophies get more into ideals than actual items. I'm a checklist kind of girl, so I grew tired of the vagueness and would have loved a bit more concrete "Go get them" attitude. All in all, a decent starting point for female entrepreneurs (moms or not) that definitely gave me some great ideas for my own blog.

I'll be honest - I thought the cover was cute, so I requested it. I'm not familiar with the author; I assumed this would be a generalized women-in-business book. When I started the book and found out the author is part of an essential oils MLM, I nearly quit reading. But I soldiered on and found that this was actually a pretty good common-sense approach to business primer. It's easy to read and well-organized. Some of the language in the book drove me insane ("momtrepreneur" and constant mention

Some of the language in the book drove me insane ("momtrepreneur" and constant mentions of "finding your tribe" - I can't), but the book WAS full of practical advice on goal-setting and positive thinking and actions. The author comes across as friendly and non-threatening and I can see tons of people LOVING this book. It was solid. #arc #netgalley
