YESSS! This needs more than 5 star glowing review!

Meanwhile her 15 yo niece has been kidnapped while Killian has just been released from prison.

The niece is believed to be involved with a biker gang that's heavily dependent upon drugs and human trafficking.

The man responsible for jailing Killian is now responsible for the revenge act.

Rank is our leader calling all the shots from behind the various splendid action scenes.

As if this wasn't enough Annie's is a nearby brothel where Wex a strong male character and culprit is believed to have taken the girls including Shannon or so it's alleged.

    Where is Shannon?

Who the hell has her and why?

Will she ever be found alive?

My word don't waste anymore time. Run don't walk for this one!

Thank you to Kate, the publisher, NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

I received an electronic copy of this novel on September 6, 2019, from Netgalley, Kate Kessler, and Red Hook Books - Hatchette Book Group. Thank you for sharing your hard work with me. I have read "Seven Crows" of my own volition, and this review reflects my personal opinion of this work. I am happy to recommend this crime novel to friends and family. Kate Kessler is an author I will need to follow.

I thoroughly enjoyed Killian Delaney. She is a character I would love to see more of.

I thoroughly enjoyed Killian Delaney. She is a character I would love to see more of. There are subjects and language not suitable for children, but adults should find it as compelling as I did. We have a galley of persons with questionable talents and jobs, three groups of warring biker dudes and ladies, at least two crime bosses or the like, and people traffickers - a woman recently released from prison after serving time for beating a man nearly to death, a parole officer, several cops, and the odd witness. So not wholesome, but the good guys do what they should, as do the bad guys. Give it a go. This is a fast read, one setting, and popcorn. The nicest thing about Kindle books - popcorn butter washes off of the screen without leaving a stain.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with the ARC. This has to be one of my favorite tropes in books and movies and I was thrilled to start it! Without spoiling anything, I love it when an ex-con is the hero and goes on a journey to save someone! It just makes me giddy inside. The pace, writing, atmosphere, characters, everything was what I was looking for in this read! Will be reading more from this author in the future!

What I Loved: The character Killian was such a bad-A$$. I was engrossed with her character. You remember that little movie, Taken, well she's the female version of that dad. How I Felt: This was a gritty, descriptive book and every time someone landed a punch, I knew exactly how they were feeling. The writing was so well done, I could picture everything. I felt nervous for characters, hoping they were making the right decisions, worried if they would make it out alive. It was a suspense-filled thriller and had me on the edge of my seat.

To Read or Not To Read: This book is perfect for action/thriller lovers. It is full of moving pieces with some mystery and secrets revealed. There's very little down-time. The book is fast-paced, moving right along.

So I have a couple of ARC and I decide to look through them and see! I absentmindedly picked up “Seven Crows - Kate Kessler” (The tittle actually had me😁 pick it up) Long Story Short, I haven’t been able to drop this book since yesterday!😁 I slept at about 4am this morning and then I woke up and continued from where I stopped without even getting off the bed🙈🤦‍♂️ (I am terrible) My house is a mess and I don’t even think I care😁 My weekend plans are automatically cancelled as I’m sure I will be curled up all day with this book! I’m already 76% through and won’t be long now😁.(Wrote this during the weekend)

    .

Character buildup/development is impeccable and plot depth is amazing! It has all the badass female vibes I love and a hidden crush becoming more! (I’ve been rooting for Killian and Dash since the beginning) I’m sucker for Friends Becoming lovers after realizing they’ve been in love all along😁 And Secrets so huge it can torn families apart and all the people involved! A loved one betrayal! Revenge! Rape! Shedding light on human trafficking and Child- prostitution! Going to war for the wrong person and All that❤️❤️ Gangs And Gangbangers .

    .

This one book has got it all and you really want to read this book! Trust me!😁Enough of me ranting and time to get back on track 😁😍.

This is me back yo update after completing the book.

This book was everything and more and the best thing about this book is the happy ending I was hoping for everybody involved. Killian deserves all the happiness and Dash is that one person we all want in our corners forever and I'm glad she now has her daughter/niece back and living the life she deserves.

I do hope to read more about Dash and Killian and the jobs they were assigned and how life turned out for them. This could easily be made into a series and I'd buy every last one of them.

Kate Kessler is an amazing story teller and had me wanting to read more more of her books and safe to say, I am now a big fan and hoping to read more of her work soon.

posting a proper well detailed review on my blog later this week.

I was given this ebook by Goodreads in exchange for a review.

I am a big fan of Kate Kessler’s Audrey Harte series and she doesn’t disappoint with this new book.

The storyline involves human trafficking, rape, prison and redemption. It was more violent than I usually read, but the story would not be as powerful without it.

I liked this book is not only a thriller but it also talks about themes that are real and happen in real life. The main character is a typical anti-hero that I feel like many people will like and will root for her because she's tough and independent. I also thought that the story was very fast paced and didn't feel as long as it actually is (it's pretty long I think). But overall, I really liked it and I think it was a great thriller and I'm glad to have gotten the opportunity to read it!

She goes to prison for what she did the the man and has to watch her back inside because all the gangs have people on the inside or people that will do anything if he pays them enough.

When she is released from prison she has to learn how to live on the outside and keep her nose clean.........will she be able to do that?

This story is action packed and you will not want to put it down. Kate Kessler is a MUST read.

I don't know if I would ever want to walk a mile in Killian Delaney's shoes, but I do know that I would never, ever take a single step in the shoes of one of her enemies. Whoa! If you're looking for a tale with a physically invincible yet emotionally scarred heroine, you'll love this book. Although MC tales are not my sub-genre of choice—along with a great deal of violence—I really enjoyed this book.

I have been avidly following Kessler's writing since first reading her debut novel three years ago. I have since read - and thoroughly enjoyed - all of her novels. At first, I thought that this title would be part of the Audrey Harte series (many of the titles involve a number), but this is a standalone novel set in a grittier Connecticut than the one that may first spring to mind. At first, I thought that this title would be part of the Audrey Harte series (many of the titles involve a number), but this is a standalone novel set in a grittier Connecticut than the one that may first spring to mind. The book is a bit like an East Coast version of a season of Sons of Anarchy - with rival biker gangs, trafficking women, drugs and plenty of violence.

Killian Delaney is the main narrator of the book. She is on parole after severely assaulting the man who ordered the murder of her boyfriend. And though she has since largely cut ties with her past, that all changes when she receives a call from her sister to say that fifteen year old Shannon is missing. Calling on old friendships, Killian risks everything to see Shannon home.

The book moves along at a fast pace and it's hard to put this one down. Kessler excels at this type of main character - one with a past, but a good heart. The romance, along with some of the secrets of the past, are easy to see coming. And the ending seems to leave a segway for a sequel. I will definitely continue on with this series if Kessler continues it - I do like the characters introduced here, and I am curious to learn even more about them. Either way, Kessler continues to be an author that I'll be watching out for!
