Okay, so here's the deal. I have loved every single book and story I've read from Seanan McGuire, which says a lot. Am I happy read the continuation of Jack and Jill's story? I would say that'd be an understatement. HERE. WE. GO.

Thank you to the publisher who sent me an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Honestly I’m a little sad that I didn’t enjoy this as much as the other books. I think my preference leans more toward discovering all the new worlds rather than returning to old ones with the focus on the plot rather than the beautiful descriptions (tldr: if you liked beneath the sugar sky you’ll really like this one) Overall, I still really enjoyed this book and will happily be adding it to my collection come

Luckily Jack is a mad scientist. More luckily, she’s come back to the Wayward Children’s home for help ... and she gets it. Did Eleanor say “no quests”? Oh well!

    Review to come!

PLEASE tell me this is the sequel to Jack and Jill's story. I beg you, Seanan McGuire, goddess of toads and stories, I need to know what happens after. Their story isn't finished yet, right?

"The fifth installment in Seanan McGuire's award-winning, bestselling Wayward Children series, Come Tumbling Down picks up the threads left dangling by Every Heart a Doorway and Down Among the Sticks and Bones

When Jack left Eleanor West's School for Wayward Children she was carrying the body of her deliciously deranged sister--whom she had recently murdered in a fit of righteous justice--back to their home on the Moors.

But death in their adopted world isn't always as permanent as it is here, and when Jack is herself carried back into the school, it becomes clear that something has happened to her. Something terrible. Something of which only the maddest of scientists could conceive. Something only her friends are equipped to help her overcome.

Eleanor West's "No Quests" rule is about to be broken.

    Again."

Sooooo... What did Jack turn herself into? Cuz I'm betting that that's what this is. Her teacher would never do her wrong, and her sis and vamp-daddy, though deranged, don't have the skills. It's something to 'overcome'... Werewolf Jack? Any other guesses anybody?

Also, something something lightning on the cover (probably gonna reanimate Jill) and it appears to be the Moors, but there is no giant looming red moon? Which is probably a Bad Thing as well.
