    VIKTOR IS EVERYTHING ❤❤❤

I really loved the journey between Viktor and Zoe. This was a more emotional read than some of Natasha's other books and let me tell you, she hit the mark on this one! Viktor and Zoe are such beautiful and pure characters, I didn't know if my heart could take the pounding it received.

Wow… just… wow. I finished this book at midnight and then lay in bed thinking about it until 1am when I had to get up and pour my feels out, so please excuse my scattered thoughts as I am deliriously tired and completely overwhelmed with the emotional ride that I just went on with this book.

After the first book in this series, I was expecting light and fluffy, but Natasha Madison brought the feels with this one! A stunningly emotional, heart-pounding romance with drama, angst and so many feels! It’s a beautifully written story of true love against the obstacles, with a deliciously slow-burning, chemistry-filled love story that absolutely owned my heart. A perfect combination of drama, heartache, humour and romance, this is my latest fave by Natasha, and I adored every moment of it!

This is the second book in the

series, which follows on from the

series. Technically, you could read this one as a standalone but the family dynamic has been built upon with every story, and you need that background to fully appreciate the connections and just how special they are as a group - it makes this book so much more meaningful than it would be as a standalone.

This is the story of Zoe. She is the daughter of Cooper and Parker (

), a sibling to the rest of the characters featured in the series, and twin sister of Zara from

. Zoe is a hardworking and highly successful real estate agent, dedicated to career above all else (with the exception of her family). She is smart, sweet and funny, with a huge heart, and I just love her.

Viktor Petrov is an NHL star who had a spectacular fall from grace. His out of control drug use led to his downfall and he ended up in rehab. Having finished his three months, he is out and starting a new life in New York with his new team, under the mentorship of team General Manager, Matthew Grant (

). He is serious about his recovery and is determined to claim his life back and make the most of his new opportunity.

Zoe and Viktor meet when she is brought on board to help him find a new home in New York, and from the first moment they lay eyes on each other, sparks fly. Their attraction is intense and visceral, but with Viktor in recovery and encouraged to stay away from relationships, and Zoe having sworn off hockey players, there is nowhere for their attraction to go. They are upfront and honest about their feelings and where they are at, and decide instead to be just friends.

It’s fun and flirty, and I loved every moment of the two of them together. I could feel that amazing spark between them, and I found myself smiling like a loon with each and every encounter. The more time they spend together, the more they begin to feel for each other, and the build-up and anticipation had my heart pounding as I eagerly waited for

to happen. But their road is not an easy one as they find themselves being in the impossible situation of falling for somebody that they just can’t have.

Oh. My. God. The feels! Firstly, you have this beautiful, beautiful love story as we watch these two people easily and unexpectedly in love. Against all that is standing in their way, and as much as they try to fight it, their fall is organic and complete, flowing so naturally, and I fell right alongside them. So I also experienced

as they deal with the reality of their situation. It’s heartbreaking and raw, and I was in tears with an aching heart as I watched it all play out.

As a romance reader, we know that there is a happy ending coming. You know it’s coming, you can feel it coming, but to the characters their situation feels insurmountable, and you’re feeling everything along with them as they fight to get there. It hurts, but it hurts so good, and the slow burn is absolutely sensational!

The love story is just gorgeous, and unfolding alongside of it is Viktor’s personal journey that is so beautifully written. Again, I could feel his torment over his past and his heartbreaking, constant struggle to overcome his demons. My heart broke for him, and I wanted to just reach into the book and hold him so bad! His struggles and vulnerability are raw and heartfelt, and his dedication and commitment to his recovery and healing himself is so heartfelt. And though his path is a rocky one, the strength he shows is amazing showing his incredible character.

And I love that Zoe is a part of that process. Her friendship and support is beautiful, and the inclusion of her family in all of that brings so much depth to the story.

But despite the serious subject matter, it’s not all depressing and gloomy. Zoe and Viktor have a lot of fun and happy moments together, the romance is just beautiful, and the sexy time is really freaking hot (and absolutely perfect… and I mean that in a totally non-pervy way). Zoe’s whole extended family are a huge part of the story, and in addition to providing emotional support, they also bring a whole lot of laughs. This group together is absolutely fantastic! The love and laugh, tease and banter, there is absolutely nothing off-limits between the girls (shout out to drunk Allison), and the protectiveness of all of those alphas had me laughing out loud.

Matthew, in particular, brings a lot to this book. Having set himself up as a cornerstone for his family, his love, support and protectiveness is so beautiful to see.

This is a really special read. A perfect blend of all of the things I love about romance – fun and flirty banter, wickedly funny group dynamics, heart-pounding drama and intensity that brings the feels, and an emotion-filled, passionate and all-consuming romance. I laughed and I cried, and I loved it so much.

    5 huge stars!

was such a spellbinding read that I don’t know where to start with this review! This book is so much more than just a romance! It’s more than anything a profound story of addiction and the arduous path of recovery! Natasha Madison undoubtedly fashioned one of her most stirring story to date with her trademark touch of humour and sexiness!

Viktor Petrov is a very unusual and refreshing hero! He’s so different than the alpha men previously met in the other books of this series and its spin-off, yet there’s something deeply alluring about his reserved nature. He doesn’t express himself that much and sounds detached at first, but he has so much on his shoulders with the burden of his recovery! When he meets Zoe Stone, she brings light in his days. He slowly reveals a little bit more of himself and what an incredible guy he is. His attraction to the sassy blonde is difficult to repress, but his insecurities brought by his addiction make him distant. He just wants to be worthy of her and it’s certainly a beautiful, yet emotional journey!

I already loved Zoe from the prior novel

, but this time she was even more interesting. I loved how she always has some witty repartees. The defiance when the men in her life are being bossy: omg, those moments are just hilarious. Her friendship with Viktor is instant and truly sweet. She’s very thoughtful and comprehensive of Viktor’s personal battle.

The slow burn was crazy slow and I was dying for this couple to get together, but at the same time it was just so impeccably executed. The pent up feelings and heartbreak that lead to them getting together had me in tears of sadness and joy. I was overwhelmed by the beauty of Zoe and Viktor that left me breathless more than once!

In the middle of all these poignant feelings, there’s hilarious scenes too. I can’t express how much I love the Stone family and their antics. The men are a riot and the girls are the best to push their buttons with sassiness. But this family is also fiercely protective and supportive. I just love them so much!

I can’t get over how much I adore this world! This gripping story is a must read and will have you awestruck for sure! Natasha Madison delivers all the swoon-worthy, sexy, funny moments and more in

! Now, I’m just so intrigued about Vivienne and Mark’s story! Omg, their book will be another fantastic read I’m sure!

    How do you rate perfection?

How do you prevent your own words from tarnishing purity?

How can you put a label on uniqueness?

You simply can’t and my greatest fear is that I am just not going to be able to give This Is Wild any justice with my own words.

    The struggle is definitely real!!

Viktor and Zoe's story in all honesty is like no other. It’s a rare and very unique look at life through the eyes of an addict. The struggles they face, the fear, the guilt, the pain they caused. It explores the emotional side of things, once the cloud of addiction is lifted, and what life is like when there are no more scores, no more hits. It’s just you, the you that is now forever changed and is trying so desperately hard to get better and be someone better.

It also explores the devastation that addiction can cause, the relationships that become fractured, and how easily you can fall back into old habits. It delves into ones inner self and the strength that is needed every single day just to get by.

It’s such a gripping story that I personally connected with instantly. I was so drawn to it that I read it until the early hours of the morning….And yes I read it through blurry tear-stained eyes because it crushed my heart. It took my breath away every step of the way. There were so many defining moments that there would be no way that I could even pin point one for you. The whole novel was written so beautifully with so much emotional depth detail that I didn’t want it to end. I wanted to hold on to Viktor and Zoe for as long as I could. But I knew it had to end, and the ending was just…...I can’t tell you because even as I think back my eyes become all blurry again because I am still feeling emotional.

A powerful read like no other that I suggest everyone read. You will fall in love with both Viktor and Zoe, I just know it.

After Viktors life crumbles down around him, albeit self inflicted, he’s forced to fix things by heading to rehab. What he doesn’t count on is being drafted the second he walks into the joint. But Matthew Grant sees potential in him, and having been in a similar situation himself before, gives him a chance that sees him moving from the west coast to New York.

Queue Zoe. When her big brother tells her he’s signed a new player whose going to need a good realtor, the best in town, Zoe agrees to help him, she is after all the most sought after realtor right now! Zoe has a rule, no dating Hockey players. But all of that comes into question when she meets Viktor.

What starts off as a simple client - realtor relationship, soon turns into friendship that comes to mean a lot to both of them. But with Viktor battling with his demons and Zoe’s strict rule, will these two look past the baggage to see what’s right in front of them? Or will crash at the first buzzer?

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!!! I don’t think there are any words that really do this book the justice it most definitely deserves! Absolutely hooked from the minute I started reading, completely unable to put it down, I was captivated by the rawness, the honesty and the emotional rollercoaster ride I went on as I read each chapter.

Natasha takes a very difficult, delicate and harsh reality and describes the whole journey effortlessly. Having dealt with such an issue within my family, I can honestly say she approached it with honesty and grace and you could literally FEEL everything both Viktor and Zoe were experiencing and going through.

Viktor is a broken man, he’s ashamed of his past and doesn’t want Zoe to judge him. What he’s not prepared for is the openness, trust and faith she has in him. What developed between them is both breathtakingly beautiful and utterly heartbreaking. I laughed, I cried, I shouted at my kindle relentlessly, but it was all worth it 100%!

For me, Natasha just leaped ahead of the game with this book. I’ve always been a fan of her words, but she took her work to a completely new level and it’s hands down her best book yet!!!

I cannot recommend this book enough, it’s my favourite book of the year, and I can’t wait for you to fall in love with Viktor!

    TEN ENORMOUS STARS! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I've been trying to write my review since last night. I am at a lost for words, and that normally doesn't happen to me. haha.

This Is Wild left me in a serious book hangover. I literally went through every emotion with this book. The good and definitely the bad. I laughed my ass off and cried like a baby. Real tears, not just eyes watering. The characters are funny as hell, sassy as all get out, but most importantly REAL.

The amount of buzz I have been hearing about this book has left a persistent ringing in my ears. If you're familiar with Natasha Madison books, you know she's not afraid to pull at your heart strings. So, when the rumor mill started turning saying this is her best work yet, I knew I needed to prepare myself. I went out and bought a giant bottle of wine, several types of candy and told the hubby he needed to occupy himself for the night because I had a date with a book. Never in a million years could I have fathomed the impact this book would leave on my heart. Never would I have guessed that a book about a recovering addict would be so relatable - so realistic - so wildly perfect. Zoe deserved an epic love story. And Viktor was just the man to give it to her.

Story Line: We meet Zoe in book one of this series (side note you don't HAVE to read This Is Crazy first, however, I recommend it for full effect since many characters are mentioned who we've already met). Zoe is super successful in the real estate business. She's good at her job, loves it and is in a really good place in her life. Then comes Viktor. He's fresh out of 90 day rehab and moving from LA to New York to play hockey. He needs a new home and whose direction do you think he's pointed in? Ding Ding Ding. Our beautiful Zoe. But that's about as basic as this story gets. From their first meeting, it's crystal clear that they are going to connect on levels you and I have never even dreamed about. There's chemistry, sure. But not a single word in the English dictionary is strong enough to fully define the relationship Zoe and Viktor develop.

Interaction: From their very first conversation, I was waving the Zoe + Viktor flags like a dang relationship cheerleader. There is just something about their dynamic that had me absolutely infatuated with them from the very start. Zoe with her positive and sassy attitude is everything Viktor needs in his life. This man and his wounds are fresh - 90 days fresh. He's starting over completely new. New city, new support system. New everything. I swear to y'all, I could feel this man's pain. I could feel his struggle deep within my bones and maybe even beyond that. Every time he woke up covered in sweat, I swear to all that is holy, I was sweating too. Viktor and Zoe are the epitome of light and darkness. She is all that is light and beautiful in this world. And Viktor is coming from complete darkness - he has fallen victim to the evil this world has to offer. But instead of letting that evil rule his life, he chooses light. Every time he and Zoe are in the same room, everything about the fictional world and the world all around me was glowing. It's like a missing puzzle piece was clicked back into place. Zoe and Viktor are just RIGHT.

Laundry: Listen. I know this blog is all about the laundry (hint, if you're new here, laundry doesn't mean laundry. Laundry = naughty time) Anyways, I need y'all to open your minds and soak this in. Ready? The laundry was not my favorite part of This Is Wild. Want to know why? Because the character development was so much more than just leading up to laundry time. Do not misunderstand me. There IS laundry. And it is EVERYTHING. But you need to be patient. Viktor is on a journey of self worth and for he and Zoe to jump in the sack from early on, literally would not make any sense. At all. So, just sip your wine, dry your tears and enjoy the wild ride.

Depth: Viktor is a recovering addict. That's not a secret. I knew this going into my one night reading binge. What I didn't know was how much this man and his story would affect me. Don't get me wrong, I shed many tears for Zoe and her character this book, but for the first time in my life, I related to the male lead a little bit more. No, I'm not a recovering addict like he is. But I do struggle every single day with a form of addiction - addiction to food. I know it's not the same and I'm not downplaying the seriousness of what he went through or what he felt. But his inner monologue hit me HARD. Viktor is a broken man trying to find his self worth after hitting rock bottom. Just typing those words brings tears to my eyes because you don't have to be an addict to know what it feels like to struggle with self worth and loving yourself. We experience the highs and lows that come with a new relationship, and the highs and lows that come with fighting inner demons. Y'all, I was certain by the 66% marker that I was going to loathe this author the rest of her life. No joke. I was nearly hyperventilating reading these words and feeling every little thing these two were feeling. Your heart is going to be put to the test. You're going to find out just how many emotions you're capable of feeling in one sitting before your heart literally combusts. But it's so worth it. Every word, every page, is written with gut wrenching passion. So prepare yourselves and be ready to meet you new favorite book.

Addiction is not an easy topic to tackle in any book, no matter the genre. Add in the expectations of it being in a romance, and the pressure to not only tell an authentic story but also keep you on the side of the characters is that much harder. They can be flawed, but not too flawed...it's a romance, after all.

I thought the balance of this was handled very well. It kept the romance, it allowed you to understand why Zoe falls in love with Viktor; why he feels she is too good for him/he isn't good enough for her; and why he got to where he is now, to where he was, and why he will never go back there again. (To this point, I loved the tiny flash forward at the end. It's a book about addiction...but it's also a romance, so you know there will be a "Happily Ever After" but, it was still kind of nice to see it play out, just a little bit.

There was a lot about this book that I enjoyed. The romance, the slow burn friendship while both believe (accurately, for a while I think) that they can't have more, that he has to focus on himself, their connection, Zoe's giving heart and how much she loves Viktor, knowing she shouldn't and that he warned her not to.

But, the thing that really stood out to me was how well he knows himself. Yes, it's a struggle at first as he realizes he had lost himself. But, through it all, there is a mindfulness and intentional approach to his recovery that he maintains. He believes in what he is doing, he is open and upfront about it, and he makes sure that he makes the decisions that will guide him to it. He is invested, he is all in with his recovery, and it makes it easy for the reader (and Zoe) to be drawn to him and to want him to succeed...romance and wanting Zoe and Viktor to get together aside.

I also really liked Zoe and how she fell in love with him, flaws and all. She was able to see past the addict, and his past, and see the person that he was even during the addiction that was lost, covered up, by the drugs but still hiding in the corner. I loved that she sees him, from the beginning, and that each thing he tells her, each of his struggles, each of the things she sees that are less than positive are things that he has overcome, that she is proud of him for getting past.

Yes, this is a romance, and it is a dual POV, but in a lot of ways, this is Viktor's story. Zoe is an important part of it, and she is one of the things that helps anchor him...but, at the same time, the person who is really responsible for moving him forward is Viktor himself.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

Is there where Viktor meets Zoe Grant, the sassy, independent, and very successful realtor who helps him find an apartment, and the sister of his boss, the man who gave him a chance when no one else would. Could Zoe be the strong woman Viktor needs to make him a better man?

This story is raw when it comes to Viktor and his fight with his demons, but as much as it is raw, it feels very real. Viktor's battle is something that a lot of people are doing their best to win every day and was treated with respect and compassion throughout the story. Madison treated his character as a man who had a great deal of difficulty in his past, a man who made mistakes, but also a man who is doing his best to overcome the person he used to be and one who is worthy of Zoe, the woman he can't stop thinking about. There are parts that are so incredibly sad in this book, but you have hilarious ones to go along with the sorrowful ones.

Without a doubt this book is phenomenal, one of the better ones I've read lately thanks to the subject matter, the humanity of it all, and the regard shown to everyone fighting with addiction every hour of every day.

    Highly recommended!!!
